Fun project for an overcast Novemeber day.  Making cards is fun and creative and hopefully enjoyed more by the reciever when they know I made the card just for them!  I have about 36 on my list this year!  So back to the drawing board!!!   Feel free to use mine as an example - just let me know because it will make my day!

Weighted blanket for Autism

I just created this weighted blanket for my precious little nephew Jake!  Sure hope he will enjoy this one.  He loves bright colors.  His dad, Micah asked me to make this using the method I use to make the therapy collars.  Jake carries theirs around all the time.  Hope to make one for him out the remaining material. 

The blanket measures approx 3' x3' and has little tubes holding the weight evenly.

Betty Boop Throw

Betty Boop Throw!  I finally finished her!  She is ready to snuggle into and keep warm on a brisk day or night!  This was so much fun to create, especially in my favorite colors!

It was fun designing this one and I am
pleased with how miss Betty looks.
There will be a total of 9 panels
and then edging ... I have 5 done
now.  Will probably have this in the tent trailer for the summer!  Like I usually do, I am posting this as a work in progress ...

Baby Seal Boy Blanket

My first attempt at creating the pattern myself.  The seal was so much fun to create!  Now I have a baby blanket for the next baby boy born into our family!    Tracking the pattern stitches was a challenge, but I think I now can do this easily and will have fun creating more patterns to crochet! 

Baby Boy Seal Blanket

My creation for the month of April 2012.  Living on the coast near seal, what else would I create?  I will post the entire project when done.  My biggest challenge is remembering to write down the instructions as I go along so I can make another one or share the pattern some day.  Be sure to leave me a comment regarding this latest creation ... Baby Girl Blanket

I used a pattern I got from a friend for Sunbonnet Girl and the blocks, but the rest was my pattern.  This measures 32"x32" and is lined with pink flannel to keep that little baby girl warm on a chilly day!  This inspired me to start making my own patterns to crochet ... I have already started one and it will be posted in progress!  Hope you enjoy and please be sure to leave a comment.
